A weekend in Edinburgh
This weekend, Den and I took a flight to Edinburgh to see the family. We'd not been up for a while and despite the wayward and predictable 'four seasons in one day' weather, it's a perfect opportunity to wander the streets admiring the impressive georgian properties, particularly in Ann Street, visiting art galleries and shopping in the interiors boutiques and craft shops of the villagey-feeling Stockbridge. Of course, no leisurely trip would be without its pit stops for a cheeky glass of wine and bite to eat in Rick's, the place for Edinburgh-ladies-that-lunch and on Sunday, at Scotlands' seafood restaurant of the year 2012 - Cafe Fish.
All things considered, a relaxing, inspiring and rewarding weekend. How was yours?

That does sound like a great weekend. I love those vintage trunks. Funny, I just went to my parent's house last Friday to pick up my mom's old trunks. I thought I could use them to decorate the house. Our weekend was spent doing lots of running around and now I'm feeling exhausted this week. Marching on!
Sounds like a fab weekend! I've never been, Edinburgh is definitely on the wishlist now. Those gorgeous Georgian buildings are fantastic.
We had a great weekend too - just getting out and exploring Hong Kong, starting to find our way around. Hoping to do the same this weekend, hope you have a good one!
