Sunny Music Video goes live!
How was your weekend? I hope you've been enjoying these last throes of Summer while the sun continues to shine.
And on the subject of the sun, as I promised you guys a couple of weeks or so ago when I wrote about it here, this is the finished music video for Kelly Waters 'Sunny' track produced by Mr. L's Music Video Masterclass 2012 students.
I'm really pleased with how the styling for this lighthearted tune turned out on screen - the candy coloured, feminine and fun props worked well. I think my favourite scene is the cupcake making in the kitchen although a close second because of the lighting and its simplicity, is Kelly taking tea in the living room.
My dog wrangling got some airtime as of course did Kelly's fluffy pink co-star bagpuss.

I love it Sam! Those cupcakes look delicious and that dog made me giggle! I really like her hair and make-up too. A lovely bit of vintage inspiration - right up my street. It's great to see the finished article. x

It's so different to see the behind-the-scenes and then the finished product. You can tell how much hard work is put into making all the moving parts come together. Those false eyelashes are killer, and I appreciate her cute winks in several of the scenes. The part where she is making cupcakes and playing Scrabble would be my favorite scenes as those are two thins I love. Job well done, Sam!
@Sarah - thanks for stopping by x I'm glad you approve, of course it's right up your street. The cupcakes came out well, although the icing melted in the hot lights but we managed to salvage it (no pun intended!). x

@Theresa - Kelly is definitely queen of the wink. She was really easy to work with, fell into the role effortlessly. We all had a lot of fun on this shoot x
This is brilliant! So well styled love and great to see the finished video after seeing the photos of it being made.
My favourite scene is in the kitchen with the nodding bulldog, all those lovely cooking utensils and her red lippy. I thought you said you couldn't bake, those cupcakes look delicious!
