Foreign adventures - Admiralspalast, Berlin

We were very excited to be flying to Berlin last week, we were there to shoot Duran Duran's Electronic Beats concert for T-Mobile.  The recent ash cloud caused a bit of disruption and rescheduling for some of the crew but nothing could have prepared us for the disappointment when we got news that the gig was cancelled at the eleventh hour due to Simon Le Bon's voice problems.

However, all was not lost, particularly from a design perspective, as I got the chance to explore one of the great German architectural survivors of the 2nd World War.....
